Overview

This short-term, hands-on course introduces AI Agents for Programmers with a strong build-first and production-oriented approach. Participants will learn how to design, validate, orchestrate, and deploy reliable AI agents using modern frameworks and best practices.

The course covers two orchestration tracks—LangGraph and PydanticAI—and focuses on real-world agent workflows, including tool usage, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), automation with approvals, and production deployment. By the end of the program, participants will have built and deployed a fully functional AI agent with a web interface and backend API.

This program is conducted in collaboration with SheSTEM, an organization dedicated to women’s empowerment in technology. In line with this mission, the course is exclusively for women.

Core Learning Outcomes

By completing this course, participants will be able to:

• Build reliable AI agent outputs using Pydantic-based validation and repair loops

• Implement RAG pipelines with citations and retrieval tuning

• Design, test, and secure tools/actions with guardrails

• Create automation agents (post/message/email) with approval flows and logging

• Orchestrate complex workflows using:

  • LangGraph, and

  • PydanticAI (Supervisor + Dependencies pattern)

• Expose agents via FastAPI

• Deploy agents to Render

• Build a simple Streamlit UI for interaction

Course Structure & Schedule

• Total Classes: 16

• Duration: 4 weeks

• Classes per Week: 4

• Class Length: 1.5–2 hours

• Projects:

  • 4 weekly mini-projects

  • 1 final integrated agent project

Course + Internship Model

• Course Duration: 1 month

• Internship Duration: 1 month

• Course Fee: Free (No tuition cost)

• Internship: Provided after successful course completion

Refundable Security Deposit

• A refundable deposit of BDT 2,000 is required to confirm enrollment.

• The full amount will be returned after successful completion of the internship.

• This deposit is taken only to ensure commitment and active participation.

• No prior AI-agent experience required, but basic Python knowledge is expected
